Freestyle Footbag is the artistic element of the sport. Competitors express their personality and creativity in choreographed routines consisting of tricks and moves performed to music. A panel of judges score the performance based on the difficulty, execution, and presentation of the routine.
Unlike other footbag games, players are not limited to the feet only, which
allows them to incorporate a variety of athletic maneuvers with the
entire body. In singles, routines are 2 minutes in length;
doubles routines are 3 minutes.
