Here's the skinny on our footbags - the materials we use, how to take care of them, and our guarantees.

The materials we use for Freestyle and Circle play are synthetic suede and facile (also man made). Net bags are made of vinyl. We've tested these materials extensively for strength, durability, and functionality to insure that every footbag will perform the way it's intended to. Synthetic suede and facile are both soft, durable, and washable - making them ideal fabrics for a footbag. Our new synthetic suede is as thin as facile, but stronger. It breaks in instantly and can withstand more abuse than facile. However, avoid toe-ups, especially on concrete or asphalt. Grinding the bag into the ground can cause the material to tear. Also, hand wash often in cold water with a mild dishwashing liquid and let it air dry. The cleaner you keep it, the longer it will last. Facile has always been the material of choice for freestylers in the know. It's thin, requires little break-in, and will form to your foot, making it the best for stalls. But, because of its thinness, it has a lifespan that's totally dependant on how YOU take care of it. They can last for years if you don't do toe-ups (scraping it up off the ground with your toe) and by cleaning it regularly. You can throw a Facile made bag in the washing machine with a load of clothes or hand wash with a mild dish soap. We recommend air-drying in case a really hot dryer melts the plastic filler, but we've never had a problem if they go in with a bunch of clothes.
